Driving progress towards a sustainable future

The world’s limited resources are becoming increasingly depleted and the environmental footprint of humankind is already more than the planet can sustain. That’s why we’re committed to driving progress towards environmental responsibility and sustainable development.

At Grünenthal, we actively support the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs aim to drive progress towards a sustainable future by acting as a call to action for politics, business and society on topics including inequality, climate change and justice. Our company’s efforts to promote sustainable development include defining sub-goals that are relevant for our operations and introducing management systems in line with leading international standards for environment, health and safety. We collect and analyse data from our production sites and use it to continuously improve resource efficiency and occupational safety, while also cutting waste.
